King's Quilters and Crafters

A beautiful hymn sung often at our liturgies is “Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers that you do unto me.”  Our ministry lives that song by doing various projects which either directly benefit the parish community or the community at large. These projects include:

* Craft Christmas stockings for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word and shut-ins in our parish.
* Make baby quilts for Madonna House as well as some for New Beginnings which is part of Catholic Charities.
* Sew baby hats for neonatal units at hospitals
* Make baby blankets for unwed mothers.
* Make rosaries for children in our religious education program, for our homebound parishioners, and for those serving in the military.
* Make Christmas bags for homebound parishioners.

Prior experience is not required, and we can teach you how to sew, quilt, knit, and crochet. Meetings take place approximately every two weeks on Saturdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM in the Marquette School cafeteria.
