Helping Hands: Almsgiving

Hands-on Service Activities for Families

 

As we journey through Lent, we encourage all families to engage their children in the tradition of almsgiving. Envelopes for children will be available in the vestibule and pews the weekend of March 2-3 for pick up. We will then ask children to return them for a special second collection at the 9:15 a.m. Mass. 

Children may either provide money earned from chores in the envelopes or denote another action to offer our Lord in almsgiving, including praying for families and friends, saying a decade of the Rosary and/or saying a Hail Mary.
