Endowments

OUR ENDOWMENTS

Endowments are essential to the strength and future growth of our parish. Our endowments provide security for future generations of parishioners and students. They ensure adequate funding for our important ministries and excellent care for our physical plant in which these ministries take place. Without endowments, our facilities would suffer and many families would not be able to afford a Catholic education for their children.

These are just some of the many ways endowments make a huge difference for our parish family. We are tremendously blessed to have so many parishioners willing to give so much of their time, talent, and treasure. Their generosity is most certainly rooted in a deep love and affection for the traditions of both our Church and our school, and the desire to maintain these ministries for generations to come.

EDUCATION ENDOWMENT TRUST

The Education Endowment Trust was established in 1983 to ensure continued excellence at Marquette Catholic School and keep tuition as low as possible. This trust supports education and faith-formation ministries at the Parish of Christ the King, including Marquette Catholic School, the parish religious education program and the Religious Inclusive Student Education (RISE) program.

VISION '89 FACILITIES ENDOWMENT

The Vision '89 Facilities Endowment was established for the ongoing maintenance needs of new facilities constructed as part of the Vision '89 capital campaign. Vision '89 facilities include the school gymnasium, school library, school offices, school cafeteria, and Fletcher Hall.

LEGACY 2005 FACILITIES

The Legacy 2005 Capital Campaign paid for the construction of the Mary, Queen of Peace Chapel and the Marquette Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). It also created the Boiler Room, the meeting space for the King's Crew youth group, and provided for renovation of the parish offices. The Legacy 2005 Facilities Endowment is dedicated to the ongoing maintenance needs of these facilities.

THE ELIZABETH ANN SETON EDUCATION TRUST

Established in 2008, the Elizabeth Ann Seton Education Trust was created to provide single-parent families in our parish with tuition assistance for their children attending Marquette and/or Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. Tuition assistance is based on financial need.
